  • Do you include the foundation and electrical hookup?

    Yes, our price includes the foundation and electrical hookup. We'll discuss your electrical needs during the design phase. 

  • What about air-conditioning and heating?

    Absolutely. Our price includes ductless min-split rated for 600 square ft (9000 BTU), which can be upgraded as needed. 

  • What else is included in your buildings?

    In short,  everything you need in order to have a great experience, and a fully functional, conditioned, and finished space that will stand the test of time.

  • Are your buildings just pre-manufactured sheds?

    No, all of our buildings are built on-site using the same standards and materials used to build your home. 

  • Are you less expensive than pre-fab competitors?

    We tend to be less expensive and higher quality than pre-fab competitors. Pre-fab options usually just include an exterior shell, leaving you to hire subcontractors for everything else (concrete foundation, assembly, electrical, insulation, drywall, shingles, floor, paint, HVAC, etc.). Pre-fab competitors are often built out-of-state, which can have substantial delivery costs, and don't include the foundation and electrical hookup. 

  • Can I write the structure off on my taxes?

    In many cases, yes, but you'll want to talk to a tax professional to confirm. (We are not tax professionals). 

  • Can I customize my backyard office or add upgrades?

    Of course! It's one of our favorite things to do. Our online configurator is a helpful start, but you are not limited by that. Anything you can dream up, we can design and build. Common upgrades include:

    • Cedar tongue-and-groove ceiling
    • Shiplap walls
    • Skylights
    • Ethernet or security cameras
